Why is my Gas South bill higher this month?

There are several possible reasons your bill may be higher than usual.

  1. You used more natural gas this month (your usage will vary by season)
  2. Atlanta Gas Light pass-through charges vary by month and tend to be higher in the winter months
  3. If you’re on a variable rate, the rate per therm changes monthly and fluctuations in the market could drive your bill up or down
  4. If you recently changed from a fixed rate to a variable rate plan, that would affect your bill amount

Can I view my Gas South bill online?

Yes. You can view your current bill and up to 12 months of previous bills and payment history through Online Account Services.

What happens if my bill payment is late?

In accordance with the Terms and Conditions provided at the time of enrollment or renewal, Gas South charges a late fee if your current charges are not paid by the due date. The late fee is 1.5% on the past due balance or $10 per month, whichever is greater.
