But you also have access to an online account that gives you more freedom to manage your natural gas at your own convenience—and there’s no extra cost for this service. This guide walks you through everything you can do within your online account from managing your account preferences to billing and payment information.

What is my online account?
Whether you’re wanting to view your bill, make a payment, renew your plan, set alerts or adjust preferences, your online Gas South account is the easiest and fastest way to manage your natural gas. And you can do it from anywhere, 24/7—register your online account in less than a minute.
How do I register and access my online account?
Registering Your Online Account After Online Signup
When you sign up for service with Gas South, you’ll be asked to register your account. The email address you provided when signing up will be used to start your registration. It will also be used to communicate important account details or updates.
To complete your registration, you’ll need to choose a username and password.
Once your registration is complete, you’ll be able to log into your online account.
If you skipped registering your online account right after signing up, you can still register. We’ll need to verify some information, so be sure to have your 10-digit account number and the last four digits of the primary account holder’s Social Security number handy.Registering Your Online Account After Phone Signup
If you’re creating an online account after signing up over the phone, look for an email sent to you after your service request is complete.
What about online account roles and permissions?
We allow multiple users access to the same online account, although there’s always only one primary account holder.
Main Account Holder
The main account holder is the owner of the account when natural gas service is first turned on. The details they provide during sign-up are used to verify and determine eligibility for service with Gas South. This person is authorized to make all changes related to the account and is financially responsible for any charges associated with it.Authorized Users
When you sign up online, you can add additional authorized users to your account. These users will have access to make payments, renew plans and cancel or transfer service under the existing account. However, the main account holder will be the only person able to turn on natural gas for the first time. In cases where an authorized user would need to be granted full access to the account or where you need to remove an authorized user, we ask that you call in so we can go through the required process.
What can I manage inside my online account?
As we mentioned earlier, your free online account makes it easier to manage your natural gas, whether it’s for one or more homes or a business. Let’s take a closer look at some of the features:
Your Account Details and Preferences
If you’re the main account holder, you can make changes to contact details like your email address, phone number and alert preferences—like the account alerts we can send you by email or text. Your account details can be found under Manage Account. Any changes you make there will update immediately.
Your Services or Change Requests
If your plan is about to expire and eligible for renewal or if you’re currently on a month-to-month variable plan, you can pick a new plan within your account online. Transferring your service to a new address, cancelling your service or starting new service can all be done online, as well. To make changes to your plan or request changes to your service, navigate to Manage Account > My Plan.
Your Billing and Payment History
Review your upcoming or past bill details under Billing and Payments > View Bills. If you choose to stop service with Gas South, you’ll still be able to log in to your online account to retrieve your historical billing information—up to 18 months after you discontinue service with Gas South.
Your Payments and Payment Methods
With your online account, it's easy to pay your bill each month. You can set up Auto-Pay to save time or schedule payment for a date that’s convenient for you. Your Wallet is where you can save any method of payment to be used at any time. To manage your payments and payment methods, start with Billing and Payments.
What if I have multiple accounts?
If you have multiple accounts, you'll see a list of all your service addresses upon logging in. To view details for a specific account, click the corresponding address or account number. From there, you can make a payment or view your billing history.
How do I access my online account from all devices?
You can access your account from anywhere—any time. And you can even download our secure mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play for more convenience when you’re ready to manage your account on the go. However, it’s not required for most account management activities.
