Manage My Account

First, let us say we're sorry for your loss and understand that this is a difficult time.

If you are a spouse or family member of the deceased account holder and you plan on discontinuing service with Gas South, please send a copy of the death certificate to custcarefax@gassouth.com or 888-994-5233 (fax) with the Gas South account number or service address and your contact phone number. You may also send an approved alternate form of documentation, such as a notice of death, obituary notice, written statement of death from the coroner or treating physician, record of funeral or burial permit.

If you plan on continuing service with Gas South and changing the account holder, please call us at 877-472-4932

If you're an estate executor, please send a copy of the Power of Attorney, Letter of Testamentary or Letter of Administration to Gas South in addition to the death certificate. After we receive the appropriate legal documentation, you can either disconnect the service or continue service in the estate’s name.

You can register your online account immediately after signing up for new gas service. If you're already a Gas South customer, you can register for an online account using your Gas South Account Number and last four digits of your Social Security Number, if you're a residential customer, billing zip code if you're a business customer.

You can change your mailing address, email address, password, and phone number from the My Profile page with your online account.

If you need to make any other changes, call us at 877-472-4932.

If you forget your user name or password, simply visit the Forgot Password page and we will send you a verification email to reset your password.

Your free online account makes it even easier to manage your natural gas. With it, you can:

  • Pay and View Your Bill
    With your online account, it's easy to pay your bill each month or choose time-saving and green Auto-Pay or paperless billing. For more information about paying your bill, please visit our Billing and Payment FAQ page.
  • Renew Your Rate Plan
    You can change or renew your plan online based on available rate and plan options. Fixed-rate customers will need to plan to renew within 60 days of their plan expiration date—we'll send you a reminder. Otherwise, they'll automatically be moved to our variable rate plan.
  • Change Your Rate Plan
    Variable rate customers can lock in a fixed-rate plan or simplify with OnePrice Plan anytime online.
    Fixed-rate or OnePrice Plan customers will be notified when they're eligible to change/renew plans to avoid any early termination fees. Not sure when your plan expires? Log in to your online account, or call us at 877-472-4932 and we will be glad to verify your rate plan expiration.
  • Update Your Personal Information
    You can update some of your personal information like your email address, phone number and billing information with your online account. To add a new service address to your account, you'll need to sign up for new service online. For more information on starting a new service, please visit our Start, Transfer or Stop Service FAQ page.
  • Refer Friends and Family
    Get $50 in bill credits every time a referral signs up for service with us using our Refer A Friend program—they'll get a $50 bill credit too! Use your online account to retrieve your unique URL that you can share with friends and family. For more information on how to refer a friend, please visit our Refer A Friend FAQ page.

We'll send you important account updates, including when your plan is about to expire or if you're late on a payment. And we'll also send you exciting giveaway opportunities, when they arise.

If you've registered your free online account with us, it will also automatically send you a confirmation of any change you make online (payment, change rate, etc.).

Your email address will be used for internal purposes only and will not be sold to any third parties.

If you suspect fraudulent activity on your Gas South account, please call us at 877-472-4932. A Customer Care representative will provide you with a fraud package to complete and return to us so we can investigate your concern.
